Aims and Scope of this Journal

Asia Pacific Family Medicine (APFM) is published four times per year by the World Organisation of Family Doctors. APFM is dedicated to promoting the discipline of family medicine within the region. The Journal aims to provide a forum for the dissemination of high quality regional research and to enhance the standards of family medicine by focusing on best practice. The Journal welcomes practical, relevant articles covering the broad range of interests within the field of family medicine. All original manuscripts are reviewed by at least two appropriate reviewers in the field of the submitted paper. Acceptance of manuscripts is based on scientific content and presentation of material and at the discretion of the editors.

The Asia Pacific Family Medicine journal is dedicated to promoting the discipline of family medicine within the region, by providing practical and relevant articles covering the broad range of interests within the field. It also wishes to act as a forum for the dissemination of high quality regional research and to provide a vehicle to enhance the standards of family medicine by focusing on best practice. The breadth of the region encompasses much cultural diversity, which provides a rich and complex heritage. By reflecting this in the pages of the journal regional links should be fostered and strengthened.
